Chandula graduated from her dental hygiene program in 2011 and prior to that obtained her Bachelor of Science in Biology at York University. She joined our team in February 2012. Her hygiene experience includes working in general dentistry, as well as past experience with treating immunocompromised and geriatric patients at Runnymede Health Center. When not doing hygiene treatments, she can be found playing role of clinical coordinator at both offices. She is in charge of coordinating the staff, managing clinical duties and executing various managerial duties as well as tracking treatment plans for patients. She enjoys various aspects of her job but mostly interacting with her patients and promoting oral health and prevention. She often participates in continuing education courses to keep herself up to date on what is new in dentistry and has also been trained in orthodontic procedures. Chandula enjoys traveling, going out with her friends and spending time with her husband and family. On her free time you can find her relaxing, or at home enjoying great food and a movie.
